MOUNTAIN OF TWIGS

With the lamp in hand,
I decided to close
This chapter for once and all.

I would always hear children
Wailing loudly at night
When driving on that empty road.

Walking into that dense forest,
I was uprooted,
Thrown into the mountain cave.

There, I saw the shadows
Of what had happened
To those children.

I decided to pray for them
Till sunrise made its appearance.

Now, when driving on that empty road,
I can hear children
Laughing loudly at night.

PANIC ATTACKS

Post traumatized,
I keep falling
From hundred cliffs
In my nightmarish dreams
With no one
To hold my fear away.

I can sense myself
Being engulfed
Into my own screams
Of my past experiences,

There is no escape
To those haunting desperation,
Also plunging me
Into a broken mirror
Parallel to the world
Of extreme pain.

BACK TO LIFE

As I slumbered in a deep sleep,
I recalled for having lost my route
Back to the real world,
Being stuck in the underground

Where darkness reigned
In capturing lost spirits
To scare the souls
Of those on earth.

However,
I had no desire to return back,
Even if I was constantly
Running away
From the hands of
Ghosts whose souls
Tasted souls.

But as destiny intervened,
I encountered a beautiful witch
On the route of my escape
Whose infatuation
Opened a door
Leading me back
To my real world.
