Painter, illustrator of books and a miniaturist, Wlodzimierz Kukliński doesn't really identify with any direction in art. He is trying to distance himself from trends and fashions that are all too common, but that doesn't mean he has no influence. In his art, we can see the influences of Nineteenth Century symbolism, Art Nouveau elegance and also elements of surrealism.

In spite of the idea that the world created by Wlodzimierz may look very simple, in reality it is like a riddle. The content is hidden much deeper. The meaning is situated between many elements of different realities. His works are attempts to reach the interior of human endurance. His art tries to oportray human problems: loneliness and the sense of existence.

He presents his works very rarely at exhibitions.
