Cédric Godin Olicard is a Canadian artist and illustrator. Nature, the supernatural, myths and legends from the past and present are all themes that inspire him for the creation of his pieces. He likes to juxtapose contrasting elements, such as the real and the imaginary or shadow and light, in order to create mysterious and uncertain atmospheres. This contrast also appears in his creation process, where he uses both traditional and digital mediums.

Having a rather realistic style, Cédric's process starts with a basic idea that gets developed through multiple sketches, after which he does research on the elements and themes that he wishes to tackle. Cédric's universe is generally dark and he uses lighting, colors and textures to support the story that he wants to tell through each one of his pieces.
