Anthony Richichi is an award-winning painter, illustrator and author who has published and exhibited work in galleries throughout New York including the Hyde Collection Museum. Most recently a solo exhibit of horror paintings accompanied the film premier of “The Retreat”, a 2020 feature length horror film shot in the Adirondacks which features original paintings of Anthony’s work. Original artwork will also be appearing in the next two film releases of ‘377 Films’ in 2021. Recent publishings of his art include over a dozen comics through his self-publishing title “Killustrator Comics” and a pair of art features in the nationally acclaimed hardcover collections by Howl Books’ “The Devil’s Reign”, volumes 3 and 4. Anthony also illustrates trading cards for Upper Deck and Dynamite Entertainment, including sets of The X-Files, KISS, Aesop’s Fables, Vampirella, Fallout and Red Sonja. Music is also a passion of Anthony’s, standing as the visual Artist, album designer and bassist/singer of the music group Lock 9. Their debut album “Conception” inspired the comic published under the same title. Album artwork and song lyrics weave throughout the story and are represented as comic panels and dialogue.
