THE DARKNET

In my mailbox an strange invitation
A free chance to upload
And preserve my soul for eternity

On uploadyoursoul dot com I found
A request to enter my name
Suspicious as I am
I wrote my neighbor’s name instead
And pressed enter on the keyboard
A bar on the screen was telling me
“Your soul is uploading please wait”

But nothing more happened
I was so disappointed
Until one week later I heard
My neighbor was missing

With a strange feeling
I once again clicked the link in the mail
And re-entered Johan Dee in the field
And suddenly the screen was filled
With his face filled with agony
Crying out loud
“Please save my soul
From this hell-hole!”  

With a smile on my face
I started to list all my enemies
Entering their names in the field
To upload their poor souls
To the dark side of the internet

THE DEMONIC MIX-TAPE

My father was a priest
An excellent exorcist
But we had very little contact
So when he passed away
I was surprised to find out
That he testament all his legacy
To me—is only heir

I inherited an extensive archive
With tapes and journals
Collected during his work as exorcist
I started to listen to the sessions
With strange voices and rituals
Screams, barking dogs and sinister whispers
Little girls cursing and swearing
With a dark evil voice from hell
Old men flirting and tempting
With sexy sinful expressions
At prostitutes on the street

But sometimes there were words on the tapes
Normal, neutral words out of context
I decided to copy all the fragments
To a separate mix-tape
And when I pressed play I could hear
A message that filled me with fear:
“We saved your whore to wife
From the eternal flames
But you betrayed us
When you are dead
Your prays will no longer
Protect your son from his faith
We will come and get him
Claiming our part of the deal
Dragging him down to hell
And sacrifice him to the demon king”
