RAIN DROPS IN HELL

A dark and lonely cloud
Sat outside my house
Dark and lonely me
No one to touch me
Please say my name
I need to at least feel pain
something instead of a vein.

OUR SKY UNDER THE INFINITE SPOT

Remember our place
Out in the woods
Down some country roads
Quiet, lonely, ours.

I remember the tree
In the backyard it lay
Broken out of the earth
The limb where we'd lay

I can smell your hair
The scent, your soft white skin
Enhanced by the moon light
Memories that stab.

We sat on that tree at night
Your lips, your sweet kisses
Surrounding me, fulfilling my senses
Your lotion, Eucalyptus.

Sweet salivations
Our lips hugging each crevice
My legs gripping the tree
Your legs gripping me.

That was long ago, all is gone
The lonely place, the tree
The moon and my heart
Will be forever apart.

Still I wander for that spot
Those nights, where we'd kiss
In the dark, a bit lonely
But our moment under the sky, forever mine.

ROMANTIC BRUISE

The world may never know.
I wish I didn't. And I know you do.
We both denied it. These masks, our hot hides.
Sometimes, at night I sit up and remember your face.
I can see it, staring at mine. Both dying in just one spot.
Love sickens the soul and hate bleeds through our hearts.
So I took a knife,
And kissed you goodnight.

WOLF BUSINESS

The Tender flesh
My Bloody lips
Howls of the night
Her glossy eyes
My true love comes
At the full moon
We orgasm,
A lovely spasm.

Jorge Baldomero Valdes Jr. was born in Lufkin, Texas, on August 28, 1984. His interests have always been an observer of the arts; he likes to look at things and to ponder them for a while.

Jorge decided to write in 2007, and his direct influences have been his professors, including Joe R. Lansdale who teaches Creative Writing at Stephen F. Austin State University. Jorge graduated in 2009 with his major in Spanish and double minors, Ceramic arts and of course, Creative writing.

Today Jorge is a graduate student, majoring in English. If I happen to feel the need to paint, draw or write about how he feels, he does! To keep up with himself, he drinks lots of coffee.
