DEPARTURE

Pictures of the last living
passing time
of nothingness
to the hidden chambers
our feelings
before I go
into another world.

ETERNALLY OBSCURE

Shadow of Moon
fell asleep
on the Earth
as darkness
covers fear
in my dreams…
sinful.

Eyes looking
out of the darkness
light fight
with demons
who are tearing
every emotion
tired eyes…
spark disappears.

My hands are bloody
trying to overcome barriers
scratching on the rocks
I’m looking for the light
that does not exist
fear overtakes me
at the thought of
eternal abyss.

FORGIVENESS

Thorns from the sky
fall on the ground
I walk.
Waste land
My legs are bloody
I look to the sky
and ask for forgiveness.

SADNESS

Remembering the time
When we were not alone
heart to twitch
at the thought of eternity
Ice Bound.

Milenko Županović was born in 1978 in Kotor (Montenegro). By profession, he is a graduate Marine Engineer, but in his free time, he writes poetry and short stories. His stories and poems have been published by many magazines, blogs and websites, mostly in the U.S. and in Latin America.

In 2010, he wrote and published his first book, a collection of stories, and he also written and published few collections of poems (ebooks).

Milenko is an ethnic Croat and still lives in Kotor with his wife and two children.
