GRAVEYARD ACTIVITY Hungry ghosts hover over graves Isolated souls But lost loves happy to be free of the death TWILIGHT IN THE GRAVEYARD In the graveyard the shadows hide The dead, deaf in coffins, lie reminisce of soaring past sunsets. This house is not a home anymore MONSTERS Rainy nights of lucid dreams Unseemly things crawl through the streets The children flee their beds, They dash to the windows Mommy pretends it’s just a nightmare But beneath the heel of this made-up monster STUFFING When they cut him open They found flowers in his chest; They pulled ants from his eyelids They tore at his skin, ET MOI? What about me What about the times You claim you can And me? I’m waiting for them |
