Carissa Rose is a self taught visual artist hailing out of the northern Illinois area. She specializes in watercolors and pencil portraits. Many or her works are inspired by the tattoo world, as she is a certified tattoo artist as well. Carissa's work is known for bright in your face colors and edgy style that will gouge your eyes out in the best of ways. From a very young age, she has been drawing, and now at 19 her personal style has been fully established and is very recognizable. When she was 16 she decided to leave traditional high school and started homeschooling herself to have more time for artwork. She graduated within a year and got a tattoo apprenticeship when she was 17, and started working full time by her 18th birthday. The summer of her 18th year she began selling her work online and now is able to work from home and create all the time. She hopes to get back into tattooing after moving to Chicago this Spring, but right now her full focus is improving her artwork past her own expectations and exceeding in the online business world. You can check out more of her work at facebook.com/carissaroseart ....and check out available prints on neverdieart.etsy.com. Note: Die Die My Darling was created in collaboration with Razorcandi.
