Daria Amaranth was born in the north of Russia, being surrounded by snow in winter and bright colors of nature in summer.

He has always a dreamer. He is attracted by the mystical side of life, something profound and mysterious but reflected in reality—perhaps that is why he decided to study foreign languages at the university, because the opportunity to speak ordinary things with new words seemed.

At the same time, Daria felt a strong craving for creativity, for example, in music, cinematography, drawing and literature spheres. But one day (it happened about four years ago) he suddenly realized that he was very interested in photography not as viewer but as a creatorl. Since then, photography has become his passion—he realized he was interested in staged photography and the opportunity to create a completely unique world inside a photograph.

He likes the feeling of an insurmountable mystery—that mystery which envelops like a fog, filled with dramatic emotions. He needs to put a feeling into a photograph, something completely deep in every picture.

Photography in many ways is located outside the verbal category: it is a kind of cloth woven of emotions and feelings, a continuous sensual outline. In the perception of art, the sensory moment seems to be the most important aspect; it is more primary than analysis. In his works, he likes to concentrate around emotional life, the secrecy and silent passion of feelings; memories and vague dreams, mysterious intertwining between reminiscences and visions, illusions and inner labyrinths.
