Ronald Kuang was born in Mainland China, but moved in 1996 to the United States with his mom when he was three years old. He has been drawing ever since he was a kid, but has begun to draw digitally about five years ago. Most of what he learned about art is self-taught.

When he was in high school, he was fascinated by online popular digital artists who do fantastical landscapes and use beautiful color palettes. He feels that his work is a culmination of all his influences and personal aesthetic sense.

He is currently studying at the University of California at Riverside for a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts, expecting to graduate in the spring of 2018.
