Jess Golden is a photographer living in the Seattle, Washington area. He enjoys shooting street scenes and over the last couple of years has been rather obsessed with capturing moments of genuine reality. He shoots both digital and analog 35mm but lately he has been shooting film with his Leica MP, roaming around the city as an observer.

He likes film because he enjoys developing it himself; he finds it therapeutic and feels it brings him closer to his images then digital can. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t love digital, he does love it for what can be done with that media.

Jess is not really sure where his photography is going take him in life, but he doesn’t really care because he does it for himself, and if others like it, well…that’s just a bonus.

One of the best things in his life is his six-year-old daughter Journey, and he has a whole gallery of photographs he’s taken of her, some posed but most are candid attempting to capture her personality and child-like view of the world as she gets older.
