She’s Jaee Apte. She’s 22, a Software Developer by profession but a passionate artist at heart. She started painting when she was eight, and have ever since. She paints her heart and soul and her  emotions just seem to flow naturally on the canvas. In the paintings, she pictures a world around her; the people in that world.

Women play a very significant role in Jaee’s art. She loves to portray those different forms, different walks of life, their emotions, their smiles, their sorrow, and their ambitions. She imbibes a lot of herself into them, and a lot of them into her.

The splendid monuments and historical structures of India also attracts her, and she tries to mix and match various styles to paint them as she would imagine them to be.
