Stefania Russo is a Dark Emotive Artist, based in Italy. Born in August 1984, shes self-taught and inspired to learned from the grand masters of contemporary Fantasy and Gothic art; after the studies as fashion designer and work as restore of antique furniture, she got the decision to work fully into Art World.

Her love for Horror genre, exploring attitudes, mental illness and behaviors from ordinary life, give her way to represent them as "Dark Fairytales" in her surreal personal style.

Most of the artistic inspiration is indeed from quotidian and people, not to mention from dreams and modern myths.

Her art has been featured in various publications, like Avari Magazine, Templum Magazine, Pandaemonioum and Enchanted by Out Of Step Books pubblishing.

Stefania's currently working as freelance for commissions, participating in art global projects like 78 Tarot, exposure at Comicons and for group show at international galleries, like Penumbra Gallery (Lisboa, PORTUGAL), La Luz De Jesus Gallery (Los Angeles, USA) and Tangent Gallery (Detroit, USA).
