David Lupton is a freelance illustrator living and working in London.

As an obsessive horror fan and with an inherent love of drawing, he has spent a lifetime developing a style which is hand drawn and crafted and finds expression through imagery that is rich in melancholy and the macabre.

Since graduating with an MA in Sequential Illustration, David has been working as a freelance illustrator for many varied clients.

These clients have included Time Out, The Guardian, The Times, New Scientist, Dazed & Confused, Oxford University Press, Warner Music, Virgin Records, Rough Trade Records and many others.

He also created the illustrations and artwork for the multi award winning music video ‘She is the New Thing’by band The Horrors.
